Projects
Projects are a geat way for you and your church to partipate in a large scale effort to spread the gospel in China. They usually require a substanial financial commitment and are defined by a completion date or milestone... like building a building. There are always ongoing needs that individuals can give to meet as well. These are listed in the giving catalog.
These unique opportunities are made possible by the strong and lasting relationships we have formed in China over the past 20 years. Without that history of trust that is so vital in Chinese culture, these opportunities would not exist.
They are categorized into community projects and ministry projects. Both are equally important to our mission. By completing community projects like water towers, clinics and activity centers, we open the door to ministry opportunities.
Churches
Bring the light of Christ into a community by building a church. Once constructed, these buildings serve as a house of worship and also a community center, offering classes that teach various trades and life skills.
“Our church needed to build another floor to add on rooms for our bible classes. Now we have money to build and more can attend the classes.”
Water Storage Systems
Provide a safe, clean water supply to a community by constructing a water tower. Access to safe water is a vital resource to a community and allows villagers to maintain their crops, feed their families, and access clean drinking water.
“Since we got the system, I don’t have to walk many miles for water. I can go to the pump and get water for my family.”
Medical Clinic
Medical clinics built in strategic rural locations help villagers from multiple communities access medical care. These clinics are staffed by a nurse and doctor and offer medical care, medication, and clean beds.
“Thank you for the glasses for my child. Now he can see when he’s in school.”
School Buildings and Dorms
Provide a safe school building with adequate dormitories for students in rural areas. Most of these school buildings are old and in need of repair. If they are not repaired they are at risk of being shut down. These projects restore school buildings when possible or build new buildings and dormitories when necessary, allowing the students to opportunity to continue to attend school.
"Your support means more than you know. Now all of us have a place to sleep and a new classroom."
